General Description

The Head of Platform Growth is a dynamic, leadership level position.  The primary responsibilities are to drive business development efforts in Assurely’s focused market segments and to support the build out of an insurance operations infrastructure that supports Assurely’s long-term vision.

Qualifications

  • A self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit with excellent organization and a habit of assiduity

  • 4 - 8+ years of experience in insurance brokerage, carrier, MGA/ MGU or a related insurance business sales and/or operations across multiple insurance lines (experience is agnostic to SMB, middle-market, and enterprise customers)

  • Demonstrates an ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally and a commitment to getting things done

  • A top-level executive presence with a successful track record of working with senior level management

  • Preferred:

    • Current insurance licensing

    • Significant experience with Financial Lines

    • Experience with new markets and/or emerging technologies  

    • Experience designing new or customized insurance programs for clients

    • High-level of technological comfort and fluency (e.g. Microsoft Office, HTML, etc.) 

    • College degree

    • Experience builidng and/ or managing a sales operation, is a plus

Primary Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates technical knowledge necessary to communicate Assurely product and technology solutions effectively
  • Successfully develop and deploy sales and marketing strategies with clients and prospects

  • Manage the overall client relationship; Drive consistent and predictable profitability, client satisfaction and organic growth

  • Achieve new business sales goals on an annualized basis based within Assurely’s target market of companies and partners

  • Identify new or adapted product and technology market opportunities based customer and prospect feedback

  • Contribute to communicating the Assurely value-proposition to existing and new carrier relationships

  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and innovation based on knowledge of the market, carriers and products

  • Be a disciplined champion of the Assurely culture and brand with external and internal partners, vendors, clients, and colleagues

Compensation

The compensation package is a combination of salary, equity, an aggressive performance-based bonus program, and being part of the mission to create the future norm of the insurance industry.
