The SVP, Client is an opportunity with current and future leadership opportunities. You will be an early hire in a growing, funded startup founded by two insurance industry veterans with a track record of innovation. The initial responsibilities are to drive and support business development efforts for Assurely’s new brokerage operations. You will also contribute and support the build out of an insurance operations infrastructure that enables Assurely’s long-term vision.
A self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit with excellent organization and a habit of assiduity
4 - 8+ years of experience in insurance - brokerage, carrier, wholesaler, MGA/ MGU - sales and/or operations across multiple insurance lines (experience is agnostic to SMB, middle-market, and enterprise customers)

A doer; demonstrating an ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally and a commitment to getting things done
Top-level executive presence with a the ability to create buy-in from multiple stakeholders
Current insurance licensing
Significant experience with Financial Lines
Experience with new markets and/or emerging technologies
High-level of technological comfort and fluency (we are paperless)
You are a market maker, not a market follower
Demonstrates technical knowledge necessary to support client’s insurance decisions and communicate Assurely’s value-proposition effectively
Negotiate terms and insurance coverage levels on behalf of clients
Manage the overall client relationship; Drive consistent and predictable profitability, client satisfaction and organic growth
Demonstrate strategic thinking and innovation based on knowledge of the market, carriers and products
Be a disciplined champion of the Assurely culture and brand with external and internal partners, vendors, clients, and colleagues
